We are purveyors of innovative handmade STEAMPUNK, GOTHIC & ART jewellery.

The STEAMPUNK jewellery is fashioned from re-cycled Victorian, Edwardian, Vintage and other parts.

In a nutshell, Steampunk is an attempt to put the aesthetics back into technology and its origins started in the science fiction and fantasy literature of the 1980's and 1990's. Imagine living in the Victorian steam age of the 1800's at the time of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells but with today's technology! The utter beauty of exposed inner workings of copper and brass machinery, cogs, wheels and steam pumps. The Victorian period saw the development of many key aspects of our modern world.

Steampunk encompasses a wide variety of input from a highly creative and artistic community. It includes writers, musicians, dancers, sculptors, model makers, costume designers and a host of other skills and disciplines.

We also sell original Victorian & Edwardian devices made from brass, copper and other diverse metals and materials. These devices are ideal for use as STEAMPUNK dress accessories either for conversion or ' just as they are '. Further, we sell vital devices and components for the construction and/or maintenance of your time machine.

The GOTHIC jewellery and ART jewellery is jewellery with a difference.

	EVENTS Our next event is THE UK STEAMPUNK FESITVAL. The Asylum Convivial is on 10th, 11th & 12th September 2010. We will have one of the cell 'shops' in the Prison in Lincoln Castle as part of The Bazaar Eclectica. The Festival will be in The Castle, Charlotte House at The Lawns and the Victoria Pub. We have lots more events booked and will post here when appropriate.
